INSIGHT is the most promising rock band that St. Louis has to offer. The music INSIGHT creates has always been smooth and melodic, but it also has a hard rock edge that their fans love. The four personalities behind Insight include Chris Deak (Vocals), Julie Hays (Guitar), Jason Guliano (Bass), and Tim Kaul (Drums). Together the band has headlined every large St. Louis venue, such as Mississippi Nights, The Galaxy, Pops, as well as other regional venues around the United States. The band has won several battle of the band awards of which has helped them obtain interviews on St. Louis radio stations such as “105.7 the Point” and “104.1 Extreme radio”. The band has also been broadcasted on “105.7 the Point” several times live from the OZ in Sauget Illinois. Not to mention INSIGHT’s music has received rotation on most Midwest radio station with plans to expand nationwide. INSIGHT’s recordings include a five song Ep, which has just recently sold out of its first pressing. The band has also been featured on a collection of compilations disks such as, “Multitrax II” and “No Time For Silence”, a drug and suicide prevention cd. As of recently, Insight has just released a two-song single that is a precursor to Insight’s full-length record planned to be released in early 2002. A summer 2002 tour is also planned to promote INSIGHT’s album.
